It does <strong>not express a complete thought<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often missing a <strong>subject<\/strong>, a <strong>predicate<\/strong>, or both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83c\udfde\ufe0f Running through the park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf4e With a big red apple.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Ask yourself: \u201cDoes this sentence make sense by itself?\u201d \u2753<br>If not \u2192 it\u2019s a fragment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-fixed-layout\" style=\"color:#000060\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Run-On Sentence \ud83d\udea8<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>run-on sentence<\/strong> happens when <strong>two or more complete sentences are joined without proper punctuation<\/strong> or <strong>connecting words<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be <strong>confusing<\/strong> for the reader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f I ran to the store I forgot to buy milk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf08 The sun is shining it is a beautiful day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fixing Run-Ons:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a <strong>period<\/strong>: I ran to the store.
