If they match, with&nbsp;<strong>no overlaps<\/strong>, they are congruent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ichef.bbci.co.uk\/images\/ic\/976xn\/p0dkk862.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:334px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-ead80ed6d1895cbbe90b3e6aea1cd22b\" style=\"color:#000060\"><strong>Similar<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\ud83c\udf87Two shapes are described as&nbsp;<dfn>similar<\/dfn>&nbsp;if one is an&nbsp;<dfn>enlargement<\/dfn>&nbsp;of the other. The shapes do not need to be&nbsp;<dfn>orientated<\/dfn>&nbsp;the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\">The sizes of angles must be equal between the two shapes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\">The shapes must also be&nbsp;<dfn>proportionally<\/dfn>&nbsp;the same. If one side on the enlarged shape doubles in length, all sides must be double the original size shape.
