Integers can be positive, negative, or zero. All whole numbers are integers. Here are some examples of&nbsp;integers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\u201342,&nbsp;\u20132,&nbsp;0, 3,&nbsp;180<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Numbers&nbsp;like&nbsp;3.5&nbsp;and&nbsp;\u201312&nbsp;are not integers. They have fractional&nbsp;parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">You&nbsp;can write the set of integers like&nbsp;this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">{\u2026,&nbsp;\u20133,&nbsp;\u20132,&nbsp;\u20131,&nbsp;0, 1, 2, 3,&nbsp;\u2026}<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-foreground-color has-text-color\" id=\"yui_3_18_1_1_1670928395872_706\">Integers&nbsp;on&nbsp;number&nbsp;lines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">You&nbsp;can plot integers on number lines. On a number line, negative integers are to the left of zero, and positive integers are to the right of&nbsp;zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Let&#8217;s&nbsp;try it. Plot 2 on the integer number line.
